French's Point is idyllically situated in the heart of the Mid Coast Region, making it the perfect venue for a “destination” wedding event.  We are located 30 minutes from Bangor International Airport, 2.5 hours from Portland Jetport, and just 4.75 hours from Boston.  If your guests are traveling to your event from out of the area, they will want to explore this beautiful coastal region which offers a limitless array of activities and attractions.  Our central location affords our guests easy access to many needed amenities and services. 

French’s Point has two stunning private estate properties which offer exceptional settings for wedding events and related activities:  The Retreat at French's Point is an exceptional waterfront venue for distinctive celebrations with 30 to 300 guests.  The Farm at French's Point, a nine bedroom waterfront weekly rental property ideal for accommodating the family or wedding party overnight as well as for small wedding or rehearsal dinner events with up to 60 guests.  The properties can be utilized jointly or independently for your wedding event depending on your needs and preferences.  

Our estates provide our clients with a very private setting because French’s Point boasts 210 degrees of water frontage and is surrounded by a 100-acre State Preserve with 2.5 miles of walking trails.  The preserve acts as a buffer from the bustle and noise of coastal Route 1.     

Please e-mail to request details about a wedding event at The Retreat at French's Point.  This information will outline The Retreat at French’s Point’s Facility Contract Fees as well as per person costs relating to wedding events for Catering Service, Beverage Service and if needed, Tent and Equipment Rental.  We are offering a limited-time promotional discount on Facility Rental Contracts signed within two weeks of inquiry for all remaining dates available.  We have been taking reservations for prime dates for quite some time, so availability changes frequently.  If you have a specific date of interest, please feel free to contact us about availability.

The Retreat’s website also offers an array of quality area lodging in close proximity to French’s Point. Between The Farm's onsite accommodations and those available nearby, you will be able to house your guests overnight in the immediate area with ease.   

The Farm at French’s Point, our weekly rental estate is located just next door to The Retreat.  The Farm is an excellent setting to accommodate the family of the bride or groom and/or the wedding party overnight for the week around the wedding festivities.  It is also a perfect venue for a tented shorefront wedding for up to 60 guests or rehearsal dinner which can be provided to you by Shoreline Lobster Bake Company or one of our partnered gourmet catering companies.  If you are interested in onsite accommodations provided by The Farm at French’s Point you can refer to its’ website for more details.
